New Student Union
The Auburn University Planning Office has released architect's renderings
of the new student center that will be constructed south of Haley
Center between Jordan-Hare Stadium and the Quadrangle Residence Halls.
The $50 million facility will contain 182,000 square feet of space
for student meeting rooms, study areas, lounges, offices, food areas
and other student uses near the center of campus. Construction is
scheduled to start next spring and to be complete in spring 2008.
Parking displaced by the building will move to a new parking deck
that is under construction south of the stadium.
