Broadcast Services

The Office of Communications and Marketing Broadcast Services unit has a dual charge of both marketing/promotion activities and media relations involving broadcast media. The office produces and distributes television/radio commercials and promotional videos for a variety of audiences and purposes and news-related material to local, regional, and national news outlets. The office enjoys complete broadcast production and post-production facilities including a Sony XDCAM HD acquisition source, two Avid editors (Media Composer Adrenaline HD and Avid Express Pro) and tape based editing systems. Plus, ISDN audio recording capabilities and fiber-optic connections to the university based C-band and KU Band satellite uplink.
