and effective communication is essential for the cultivation,
solicitation and stewardship of private gifts to Auburn University.
The Office of Development Communications assists fundraising
staff with cultivation of donors through the production of specialized
publications, letters, newsletters, press releases, speeches
and on-line information.
The
unit’s ongoing mission is to create engaging vehicles
for Office of Development to utilize in communicating with
current and potential donors. Inherent in this communication
is the translation of how private dollars are utilized to
support Auburn University’s mission and the impact of
Auburn on the state of Alabama, region and nation.
