Nominations being accepted for Sheffield Award

Nominations are being accepted through June 25 for the 2004 Pam Sheffield Award.

The prestigious award, named in honor of 1965 alumna Pamela Wells Sheffield, is presented annually to an Auburn woman who best embodies its namesake’s selfless service and commitment to the university and the Auburn family. The first such award was presented posthumously to Sheffield in 1991.

Sheffield’s work touched virtually every area and aspect of university life. Her broad array of service to the university included her personal involvement with students, academics, athletics, alumni affairs, and the Auburn community at large.

To submit a nomination, send a letter addressing how the nominee exemplifies Pam Sheffield’s qualities with details of the nominee’s activities and service to the university to:
