REQUEST FOR NOMINATIONS FOR ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS
The 2006 Nominating Committee of the Auburn Alumni Association is soliciting nominations from alumni and friends of Auburn University. Positions to be filled are President, Vice President, and four Directors, to be installed in fall 2006.
Nominees should be willing to serve as a volunteer in these positions, which requires travel to Auburn three times a year. Candidates should include those who exhibit leadership, are active in promoting Auburn University through local Auburn Clubs or similar activities, have experienced success in their careers, and have contributed to Auburn University either personally or financially. All candidates must be Life Members of the Auburn Alumni Association.
Nominees for President and Vice President must be current or former members of the Auburn Alumni Association Board of Directors and shall serve one (1), two (2)-year term. The positions of Director are four (4)-year terms.
In assembling nominees for review by the Nominating Committee, each candidate's representation of various constituencies, including college of graduation, state of residence, etc., will be considered.
