Alumni Association Board of Directors & Officers
The 2005 Nominating Committee of the Auburn Alumni Association is soliciting nominations from Association members. Positions to be filled are president, vice president, and four directors, to be installed in the fall of 2005. Board members serve four years while the president and vice president serve one year terms. Nominees for the positions should include those who are leaders in their communities, successful in their careers, and active in their local Auburn clubs. In addition, they should have contributed to Auburn either personally or financially and must be members of the National Alumni Association. In assembling nominees for presentation as mandated by the bylaws of the Alumni Association, each nominee's representation of various constituencies, including school or college of graduation, state of residence, etc., will be reviewed. The committee encourages all Alumni Association members to participate by sending names and resumes of nominees for consideration to Dr. Deborah L. Shaw '84, Interim Vice President for Alumni Affairs, Auburn Alumni Center, 317 South College Street, Auburn University, AL 36849 5149. Faxes and email correspondence will be accepted (Fax: 334/844 4003 or email: debbieshaw@auburn.edu). Deadline for nominations to be received is April 14.


Nomination Deadline for Lifetime Achievement Awards Extended
The Auburn Alumni Association is happy to announce that the deadline to submit nominations for the fifth annual Lifetime Achievement Awards has been extended until April 30. Please send a completed nomination form (available at www.aualum.org) and a biographical profile of the individual to: Office of Alumni Affairs, Lifetime Achievement Awards, 317 South College Street, Auburn University, AL 36849.
The award is the highest honor bestowed by the Association. It was established to recognize extraordinary accomplishment by members of the Auburn family. To be selected for the award, nominees must have attained prominence in their professional careers and they must be persons of integrity, stature, and demonstrated ability.
