Logo Standards

To promote a consistent visual identity and protect licensing and trademark agreements, AU logos, symbols and marks in print and online publications may vary in proportional size, but cannot otherwise be altered, tampered with, modified or overprinted with other words or design elements.

In a four-color publication, the full color version of the AU logos/marks/symbols must be used, and only in AU orange and blue using spot color or process colors. In one or two color publications, only approved two color or single color (orange or blue or black and white) versions of the logos/symbols may be used. The "tiger eyes" symbol must always be used in full color--no exceptions.

Unless otherwise approved, the university seal should be used in official or ceremonial publications or documents only, and only in approved single or full color versions.

For more information about appropriate use of Auburn University's federally registered trademarks, visit http://www.auburn.edu/administration/business_office/trademark/

If you have a question or concern about use of AU symbols, marks or logos not covered by these standards, contact the Office of Communications & Marketing.
