AU COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS TO HOST MINORITY, DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS
AUBURN -- The Auburn University College of Liberal Arts will host "College of Liberal Arts Day" on April 19 to give students from two area high schools an inside look at college life.
The program will cater to high school minority and disadvantaged students from Loachapoka High School in Lee County and Booker T. Washington High School in Macon County.
Students will participate in "mock" classroom sessions and will be given information about Auburn's admissions process, along with financial aid, career services, the Multicultural Affairs Office and other relevant information.
The high school students will also have an opportunity to mingle with College of Liberal Arts faculty and academic advisors during a breakfast and lunch.
There will also be an academic advising session during the afternoon and a campus tour.
