The AU-designed shipping container is delivered
to the home of Barbra Meyer in Gulfport, Miss. on March 8, 2006. |
|
The weather-resistant housing unit will provide
Meyer temporary shelter. Her home (left) was severely damaged by
Hurricane Katrina in 2005. |

for approximately $2,500. |

Meyer, a volunteer with the Area Agency on Aging,
is a former special education teacher with a bachelors degree
in social services. |
